This month’s culinary spotlight is on Batson River Brewing & Distilling, an über-unique experience with locations in both Portland and Kennebunk.
Batson River bases their entire menu of offerings – beer, cocktails, and food – on the current season. It’s a concept that is creative and fresh – basically, a talented culinary illustration of Maine at any moment. The Portland location opened on Hanover Street in December, and it is an incredibly cool space with the added benefit of onsite parking (if you’re a local, you know how miraculous this is in Portland’s hip neighborhoods!). In addition to small-batch craft brews and yummy food, Batson River has a gaming area to keep you entertained.
