Extra Sweets with No Regrets

How sweet it is… to indulge in delectable treats while supporting an incredible cause. C.LOVE Cookie Project is as inspiring with its mission as with its flavors. From familiar comforts like chocolate chip to exotic offerings that include Lebanese shortbread, orange blossom macarons, and even nutmeg and lavender snickerdoodles, the cookie selection is supreme. But the icing on top of this pastry powerhouse is its mission to support opportunity for Portland’s immigrant community. By giving 21% of sales to the local immigrant community, C.LOVE has donated nearly $19,000 since its founding three years ago. And, beginning in January 2021, the bakery will expand its generosity by opening an academy dedicated to teaching immigrant women the skills of a professional pastry kitchen, empowering students with lasting employment opportunity. The mission to support immigrants and women, especially, comes from C.LOVE founder and owner Katherine Slevin’s work alongside refugees and her lifelong passion for sharing kindness with others.

C.LOVE Cookie Project offers our community a unique recipe for success and, to me, that’s even more reason to enjoy extra sweets with no regrets.
