Happy Holidays! What a year 2020 has been. It’s crazy and somewhat exciting to imagine that we’ll soon be in 2021. We’re rounding the corner towards closing the chapter on a very challenging year and opening a new one with nervous anticipation. With a vaccine on the horizon, there’s so much hope!
The usual holiday parties, office events, and family gatherings are just not happening this year – instead, there’s a gaping hole in their absence. I love parties and social gatherings and am so excited to imagine that these events may resume in the not too-distant future. Because my husband, my sister, and both brothers-in-law are front-line workers (the rest of us are Realtors… not an exaggeration!), my family and I have not been together for almost a year. Like it’s probably done for you too, COVID has taught us many lessons and has made an imprint on our lives forever. I will never again take a family gathering for granted. But the good news?!? If all goes well, my husband will be fully vaccinated by the end of January! Yay for our front-line workers!
Despite the challenges of this year, I’ve been so grateful for the wonderful friends and family in my life. May this season bring you and your loved ones joy with bright anticipation of the new year ahead.
