Local Ties at The Knotted Apron

If you’re ready to make your way back to the onsite dining scene, The Knotted Apron is the perfect place for a sit-down ‘suppah’ inside or out. Chef/owner Ryan Hickman’s long tenure in Portland’s restaurant culture shines on the plate. Before opening up TKA in early 2020, he was at Chebeague Island Inn and Pine Point Grill. His menus offer up hearty fare like pork ragu and duck au poivre with just the right amount of elegant presentation and an emphasis on locally sourced, seasonal ingredients.

The Knotted Apron is open for dinner and weekend brunch, with a special Sunday ‘suppah’ menu featuring prime rib. The down-home neighborhood feel is an ideal complement to the upscale bistro food, evoking the sense of community we’ve missed during the pandemic.

Eat in at The Knotted Apron on Woodford Street, or treat yourself to a to-go order. A heated patio and limited indoor seating give you space to enjoy dining with comfortable distance; reservations recommended.
