Minimalist and indulgent at the same time? At Jackrabbit Café, the answer is yes. This casual daytime restaurant in downtown Biddeford serves Scandinavian-inspired small plates and pastries alongside ground-to-order, slow-brewed coffee drinks that illustrate just how thoughtfully prepared every item here is.
Food is served from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 in the afternoon, so Jackrabbit is the perfect spot for an informal business meeting or after-errand treat. The dessert pastries are my sweet spot, but the menu includes incredible savories like crispy potatoes with poached egg, a smoked salmon open-faced sandwich, heirloom tomato salad, and more. Jackrabbit’s ambiance is as well-curated as the dishes. You’ll feel transported without having to leave Biddeford.
