This Portland shop based in the Old Port is an inspiring example of small business with huge impact. Owned by Ashley Tucci since 2019, but open since 2012, Aristelle is a boutique lingerie shop that’s been winning awards for inclusivity and body positivity since well before those notions hit mainstream popularity.
The store’s mission is to make women of all shapes, ages, and budgets feel good about ourselves. It’s been a successful effort, reaching more than 8,000 individual customers over the last decade through its Exchange Street store and innovative web presence. (Aristelle won the 2021 Intima Award for Online Activities.) The selections range from accessories and sleepwear to lingerie, with styles for every occasion.
